Disappointing performance, not worth it

As my tests showed, this brake system did not live up to its premium price tag. The response time was slow and the stopping power was mediocre at best. The only positive was the sleek design, but that doesn't make up for the lack of performance. Overall, not worth the investment.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Poor performance

Seal placement, there is an inner seal and an outer seal.

On a 2012 Mercedes ML350 (non sport) be sure to fit a raised base washer to the inner surface of the rotor. Liners with a rubber boss in the middle go to the outer surface of the rotor.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Good replacement for Mercedes GL63

This is a well-made compound that minimizes brake dust without sacrificing on-road braking performance. I'm sure the OEM pads could have had slightly better stopping power at 150+ mph, but that's not the type of driving we see in the US.

Pros
  • Handy Item
Cons
  • Upgradeable
