Description of Enhanced Performance Front Evolution Drilled & Slotted Rotor Pair by Power Stop EBR850XPR

Drill holes keep brake rotors up to 180 degrees cooler. Slots keep a clear contact patch between the pad and the rotor. Increased braking performance. Look great behind custom (or factory) wheels.

They look cool but don't work.

These rotors have been combined with Cool Carbon S/T Plus pads. It took them less than 2000 miles to fully deform. Rotors look cool on a vehicle, but are short-lived when used vigorously and productively. I would pay a little more for more serious rotors.

Pros
  • Slots ensure a clear contact surface between pad and rotor
Cons
  • Quality

They seem to warp easily

I installed them on my BMW 3 Series almost a year ago. They fit well and were easy to assemble. The burglary went smoothly. However, the lifespan of the rotors was disappointing. The previous rotors lasted 2-3 years on the machine and were only changed due to pad wear. They are already deformed and need to be replaced, although the pads still have more than 70% of their lifespan. They are definitely not comparable to the original BMW rotors.

Pros
  • Holes keep the brake discs cool up to 180 degrees
Cons
  • Negative available

They fit perfectly with no problems so far

I decided to replace all brake discs, pads and brake sensor cables as soon as I bought a 2008 replace BMW 335i (E93). Although the front rotors and pads were almost new, I really wanted them to be slotted and perforated all around, if only for aesthetic reasons. I didn't do the work, my workshop did it for me. Fit perfectly and no problems so far. If anything changes, I will of course pass it on. Plus they look cool! By the way, the rubbers I use are ceramic. They have always been a great…

Pros
  • Looks good behind custom (or factory) wheels
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something
