Beware they are missing the squish

So I installed them and they went in as expected. I always take my Jeep to Les Schwab to have the brake lines checked and flushed again after a change. After checking the setup, they found that the exhaust valve was missing a squish washer, when its absence would cause brake fluid to leak. Bad thing. So $99 later it's fine.

Very happy with it! Highly recommended.

Sorry I didn't take a picture before fitting the tires! But they look great and work even better. The pause routine made a big difference, so make sure you do that and also make sure you live through the skins for the pads. And these kids stop my jeep like a boss. Serious upgrade! Established brakes on the lift and 33x just weren't enough. These things are great, they hold up like my car is now.

  • Satisfied so far

First good, then really disappointing. Not recommended

Bought based on reviews. They worked very well for the first 15,000 and then quickly deteriorated. I believe the rotors are cheap metal. Chinese? @ 29,000 miles and my brakes are throbbing like I'm just riding a horse. This is not a caliper and the rotors are deformed. No harsh driving conditions or hot/cold conditions. I also don't believe that the stand stands behind the products. I will try a different brand/set next time. Not happy with how it turned out.

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Available in white only

Don't believe the unbelievers these things are AMAZING

Exactly what I expected, the instructions say they must be indexed by a dial indicator, I pulled out an old magnet mounting indicator and they were it Within a thousand inches, not trusting my luck, I measured it for a hole just to see how wide it might be. After trying all five pistons and none of them, I was very impressed. Once the pads are lapped in, these brakes perform flawlessly and their durability is evident. But as for the original quality and finish, then A-1

Forget the discount on caliper cores

Just installed last week and have not driven the car apart from the required pad break-in period. Hope they are fine, we'll see. I'll come back to that in a few months. No, I wanted everyone to know that $30 off old calipers is a joke at best and a blatant lie at worst. Power Stop does not pay for the delivery of old calipers. UPS wanted $44. 65 to send them back to get my $30 back. Just plan to pay what you pay for and throw your old calipers in the trash.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Negative impression

Works very well. When I first installed them, I followed them.

Works very well. When I first installed them, I followed the break-in procedure that came with the box. They were worse than my old stocks. I contacted PowerStop. They gave me a revised break from the procedure. As soon as I broke them, I noticed a big difference. I noticed after about 100 miles or so that my braking is very smooth and stops very well. The real challenge came when I went jogging with a 4x4 stick. My old brakes would have barely kept my 4x4 jeep low on a steep slow descent. They

Very Satisfied: UPDATE, Not Satisfied

Update: Within two years both calipers failed and stuck. At first it didn't work out and I was lucky enough to brake at a gas station next to an advance payment for car parts. Bought a pair and replaced one that failed and made pots to replace the other. And I forgot / was lazy, etc. Two months later, the second falls out, completely seizes. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. One caught is lucky, unlucky. Two? Bad product. The product arrived on time and was packaged very well. Unpacked…
