Performance Powder Coated Brake Caliper Set 🚗 for Chevy, GMC, Cadillac - Power Stop S4918A Review

At first the calipers seemed to be of good quality. My problem is that I took a set of rear calipers and powder coated them to match the powder coated front calipers. The powder coat shop guy noticed that these front calipers weren't powder coated, they were just painted, not powder coated as advertised.

The powder coating was badly battered and chipped in several places. I tried covering it with red caliper paint but the color is so blurry it's very noticeable. This is disappointing as I paid a lot of extra money to get the powder coated version. Also, the brackets are side dependent and were fitted to the wrong calipers.

The product is defective. I've never seen a butt fall out of the caliber. Contacted the company and they didn't do anything about it as it wasn't bought as a kit. (Not to mention the lady on the phone was very rude). You can clearly see that it was a product defect. I will never buy again. Thank goodness no one was hurt as it happened while driving on the road causing the brakes to fail.

Paid extra for new calipers but they didn't generate any pressure at all. Between me and a professional mechanic, the brakes have been bled about 40 times. Customer service stinks, I have an attitude and they said open a claim with proof. So I got stuck with broken calipers and they didn't send a replacement kit because of "warranty". So I had to go to the auto zone and buy a rebuilt kit just to drive my truck.

These calipers were great from the start. I rode lightly, it looked good but after the first set of pads when I just wanted to change the pads. I was going to move the pistons back and found that both seals on each caliper were blown and wouldn't hold the fluid as intended. I ended up having to replace both calipers and bleed my entire braking system because they were letting air into my lines. Looks like they just didn't hold up for me.
