So far it works fine. I purchased it as a 9v power source for electric guitar pedals, like a "loop", but that didn't work. I'm not sure why: it's probably the looper is my guess at this point.Otherwise, it's used as a backup power source for charging my smartphone. Both my main power generator and this device are charged by a solar panel, and it has worked fine.

I use this for my video production work. Use a "Size C" DC barrel jack for the outputs.Connecting the 9V/1A line to my Canon XA30 with a "Size H" adapter works fine (powers camera, but does not charge battery). The 5V/2A line similarly works to power my Lumix GX85 DC adapter. If this had 2 or 3 additional USB outputs this would be perfect.Be *careful* with the 12V/6A output. Very cheap / Best Buy / Insignia equipment will fry if you give it too much energy.

Got tired of hearing the 60 Hz hum from my pedals when using wall warts for power. Has a 9v DC output as well as 12v DC output. Also has a 5v USB out for charging cell phones, etc. NOTICE: the output cable is +9v on the center pin, and as most guitar pedals use -9v on the center pin, I also purchased a polarity reversing cable to get the -9v output. The description promises 6A @ 12V and I cannot confirm that. The example where this battery pack fails is a telescope mount which draws max 4.5A @ 12V when both motors are running. Good solid rechargeable pack, well made and nicely laid out. Charge lasts a good long time running my effects pedals. I use both the 9V and 12V outputs, depending on the pedals. Great that you can use both outputs simultaneously - just make sure you use polarity reverser adapters to match the pedal's power requirements. Having a usb power socket is a nice bonus, along with the switch and meter. Completely happy with this one, thanks!

I bought this to power a prop I was building and it has held up incredibly well. It came with everything you need to use it as well as a passthrough that allows you to charge it while using it. I'm super happy with the purchase and can recommend it to anyone. I took a peak inside and the batteries are good quality with recent dates. I purchased this back up battery pack for use as an extended source for my Yaesu FT-60 handheld radio. Having the 9V & 5V options are a great feature! This means that while camping or hiking, I can charge up my cellphone as well as have additional power for my handheld radios. Plugged this thing to charge it up, and now, 14 hours later, the battery is still only at 1/2, the same level it shipped with. Either this battery has a far, far, larger storage capacity than advertised, or. it's not charging properly. Doesn't take an electrical engineer to figure out which of the two possibilities is more realistic. Not impressed so far.If the seller reads these reviews, yes, the main switch is set to ON.

I am a street preacher and it powers my 50watt megahorn through the 9v output (very convinient) I velcro it near the adapter.It will supply a full bore horn blast for 10+ hours. I bought this primarily to power my Masterbuilt Gravity Series smoker direct on the 12v DC connection. I've used it a half-dozen times now and works great. Went 12+ hours on two overnights with it powering the smoker and my Fireboard digital thermometer (via the usb jack) and it only dropped to 3/4 lights after 13 hours.The unit reads 12.6V from a full charge and drops slowly over the course of my cooks (as is to be expected). When fully charged it will sit around 12.4 volts. It will very quickly drop down to the 11 volt range. Depending on what you are using it for that might be fine. I am using it to power my FT-817nd that can handle that voltage. Otherwise I would have returned it. It will power my radio at full power all day no problem.

I needed a 9 V and 1A external power supply to drive my exercise bike and this was the only one that fit the bill perfectly. It works absolutely great and uses very little amperage. I am able to work out in a business location that has no power and this solve the problem. I can now continue my rehab from double knee replacement which is absolutlely great.!

I've used two of these over the past 18-months with a Celestron Evolution Mount, an Explore Scientific EXOS2-GT mount, a Pegasus Astro Pocket Power unit running two dew zappers as well as a mount, and now running an ASIAir Pro to power two ASI cameras and the mount. My observing sessions are typically four hours running loads from 2 to 5 amps. These units have served me well.

I use this to power BOOMBOXES I make. It can run on just battery, or you can have it plugged in while charging and listening to your BOOMBOX. It also has a USB to charge from. I only use it for the 12V out. I have not tested or used the other features.
