The cross broke off after 2 months of use.

Bought/Used to play DBFZ on Switch. Worked great and didn't complain until all of a sudden the d-pad completely detached from the controller. About 2 months of what I consider normal use isn't a very long lifespan for a $60 tablet in my opinion. Isn't it designed for quadrant movements? Disappointed and will look elsewhere in the future.

The best FIGHTPAD you can buy right now

These mats are made for arcade fighting games. If you play any of these, this is the best pad you can buy right now. The buttons and crossbar are fairly rigid. I had NO random direction errors (IE pressed down but received other directions). The USB cable is well made and has the best design. Please understand that this is a DPAD and not an analog drive. It's not made for games like Smash where you need analog sticks. However, you can change the d-pad to the left stick, so games like Link's…

Honest review. for accessories

I ordered two for $65 each and am very satisfied. A few things I wasn't sure about prior to arrival made me nervous: 1.) You can plug two of these into the Switch at the same time. 2.) The PowerA website has a .pdf template which was easy to use on my cricket machine. My cheatstick now loves Rayquaza in all its glory. 3.) As much as I enjoy dishing out solid beatings in Mario Kart, the level of humiliation I can inflict on my arrogant child in SF II Championship Edition borders on the offensive

  • Expensive insurance

Received on May 6th and seems great. I've only used it for a guilty pass on a switcher with a few issues here and there but overall it seemed amazing until tonight when all of a sudden my downstream inputs weren't registering. After looking at it, I found that it was just tilted all the wrong way, and after examining it, I found that the raised d-pad is supported by an extremely thin plastic d-pad that snaps in at the bottom. Just under 4 months of use wasn't worth the $60 investment. I'm…

Legit Fight Pad is the best accessory

If you like fighting games, this is a very good option. Don't expect the Amibo/Rumble feature. This controller is optimal for tournament fighting games, so it will lack some of the features that professional controllers have. I've been using Combat Commander Hori for several years with a few complaints here and there. The position of the crosspiece seemed a bit wrong and the grip felt too slippery. In general, I was fine with that, but the main reason I kept using the tablet was that there…

Decent controller, but too expensive and the d-pad isn't perfect.

I bought one of these to play fighting games, old school shooters and other arcade action games. It's a decent controller, but it doesn't cost $59.99. The design appears to be modeled after the legendary SEGA Saturn 6-button controller and is roughly similar. However, the D-Pad has more "float" than the SS Pad, making it difficult to perform certain moves 100% of the time in fighting games. I'm pretty good at fighting games and can usually do special moves pretty flawlessly, but with this D-Pad

Overview for players in Street Fighter.

I love the feel of this controller and the extra headphone jack as I don't know of any other Switch controller with a built in headphone jack. It is very comfortable in the hands. and it's a heavy feeling, but in a good, solid way. The problem I have is the concavity around the cross. Essentially, this makes the Shoryuken when you're on the left side of the screen very inconsistent. I find my thumb hitting or missing the concave side and my movement stops or makes me jump. Now, if you're on the

Very good dedicated controller - with some caveats

I have to say I'm quite impressed with the build quality of this battle mat. It's made from quality materials, including a braided cable, and all the inputs look just right. Also very responsive. The ability to toggle the directional pad to emulate the left analog stick certainly comes in handy. Zelda fans might be disappointed that Link's Awakening doesn't natively support Dpad. This fixes it. It also allows you to use the dpad for Smash Bros, which I found to be an interesting perspective…
