Arrived DOA on wrench

I have two of these the first one is chipping but it's handy for a quick check without having to keep a large torque wrench handy. But the battery life is terrible. I mean "use it to tighten a screw and the battery will die horribly". People hacked them to take a big battery. Even with the battery life, it's still a great concept. So I wanted a second one for a farm tractor, that was dead on arrival. So apparently they didn't fix the battery issue or improve quality control. Anyway I think you…

First, that price is ridiculously low. Second, this tool is extremely accurate, having re-tested it with multiple calibrated torque wrenches and torque standards. Here's how I use it. I've never used it alone as a torque wrench. It's too bulky to be of much use. I use it to calibrate cheap $9.99 Harbor Freight torque wrenches with a coupon for specific torque values. Whether you're working on a specific type of GM vehicle, Ford, Toyota or whatever, you're constantly hitting standard torque…
