Lithium battery 3V CR2032 - buy at least one extra if you buy this torque meter - you will need it. This has been pointed out by previous reviewers, but I took a chance. First, that price is ridiculously low. Second, this tool is extremely accurate, having re-tested it with multiple calibrated torque wrenches and torque standards. Here's how I use it.
