Safer than a pry bar. Forked end applieds even pressure to both side of the shaft for release of the shaft. Strike the wedge or use it as a pry bar to release the half shaft with tapered ends. Shim included to fill the gap between the half shaft and transaxle. Made from drop forged hardened steel.

Works as described: Axle Tools

After unsuccessful attempts to disconnect my axle I used this tool and it came. The hardest part was finding the right angle to bounce off the axle.

It worked so well it was driving me insane!

For three days I tried everything to get my CV axle out but nothing worked until I got it. To be honest I was pissed at how easily they came out when I got them. So if you're planning on making an axle soon, this is a must!
