Not bad but expensive

So far I like PowerECO products. PowerECO 100W Lightweight Portable Solar Panel with 20A 12/24V PWM Waterproof Charge Controller. This one seems more battery oriented than a power plant, but claims to be able to power both at the same time. What's great about it: Pros = Folds into just 2 pieces instead of 4 or 10 pieces like my other two = It's hooked up to another 100w panel which is easy to add = Love the integration of the solar charger into the unit itself = The charge controller can handle

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Damaged

What I love about this kit is that it has everything you need to charge many types of 12V batteries as well as portable power stations like the Jackery Portable Power Station Explorer 500. It folds in half and has a pocket with a pocket that can be zipped to protect the panel. It's lightweight and all parts fit either in the plate or in the pocket of the suitcase. There are stands on each plate, but they are not adjustable to different angles. It would be nice to be able to tilt the panels toโ€ฆ

Versus flexible folding version

Summary: We've previously tested a 120W 3-piece folding system using the same ProteusX 20A charge controller, so we'll compare these differences. Trademark, formerly ACOPower. 2) I was very impressed with the previously reviewed 120w portable system which I used to charge a parallel bank of Optima Blue Top batteries (12v x 110ah) driving a 1000w inverter. a 120W system could be charged in a reasonable time (provided the batteries have not been over discharged [best practice for lead-acidโ€ฆ

Ideal for off-grid camping!

I have a Jeep and an off-road trailer for off-road adventures. My trailer has a 105Ah AGM battery that powers the headlights, water pump and accessories and my Jeep has an additional lithium-ion battery that powers a Dometic 50 liter fridge along with its normal one Starter battery powered. One of the biggest challenges of working offline (especially when you're relying on a 12-volt refrigerator) is managing power usage, charging, and storage. I used a 100 watt fixed solar panel on the roof ofโ€ฆ
