These work fine but the countersunk hole is too small if you use larger screws than the tiny screws that come with these magnets. I recommend round bowl magnets instead. holes and they seem much stronger. be careful when screwing in, otherwise you'll crack them badly. I didn't crack them. even then I cracked a few. I got these neodymium magnets for my knife holder to fit under my wife's cutting board. I was looking for something very strong, not just an ordinary fridge magnet. And I was not disappointed.
