Exactly what I needed for my R1200GSA

I bought this for my adventure in a 2015 BMW R1200GS so I had a spot under the seat to plug in my heated gear and it was perfect.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Alright

Good unit: tools and accessories

I connected my Dual Sport bike to the GPS device. Use this powerlet as a power source. Seems to stand up to my abuse of enduro style. I missed a few jumps and went over the handlebars a few times. Still works fine.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Disappointing - tools and equipment

The last time I bought a set of sockets, the set included a cord with a fuse to connect the socket to the battery. If you look closely at the picture of the kit, you won't see the wires to connect to the battery. The I-Kit should contain everything you need to build the powerlet.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Small things

Ideal for adding a socket

This item has everything you need except a hole punch. I used a flat bladed wood drill bit because I couldn't find a hole saw small enough. I bought it because I have a BMW charger that charges my BMW bike from an outlet. I wanted to use the same charger on my non-BMW motorcycle. It took longer to loosen all the screws on the plate than to connect the wires. The bike charges well and I can use a couple of USB ports.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Good quality. instructions are missing.

Well done but the assembly steps have to be done in the right order. First, a bushing, gasket, washer, and nut are installed in the panel or bracket. The rubber boot is then placed on the back of the outlet after the cord has been pulled through the boot. Flat plugs are then plugged into the plastic plug (after this, the socket can no longer be detached from the panel because the cover is clamped by the plug). Finally, the mating connector is mounted on a fused cable that is not included in the

Pros
  • nice touch
