The benefits are that you can have your own electronic health records, which is great for billing purposes as well as having access when needed. You need an internet connection in order for it all work properly so if there's no wifi available then this isn't ideal but we do get wi-fi at our office sometimes anyways. Powermed is a great system, easy to use and very user friendly. It is a great system to use for any type of practice, whether large or small. The system is very secure and gives me the ability to access my medical records anywhere, anytime. I have used Powermed for over ten years and have never had a problem.
