These clamps worked great on a tapered jig I built

I am a retired carpenter always making woodworking jigs. These clamps worked great on the conical jig I built. They are heavy and your work piece will not move when you block them. You can pay significantly more for these clamps, but the quality and holding power of Powertec is perfect. Great products. I highly recommend them!

Great tool for the price

I bought two of these woodworking tool clamps that I use. Build quality and performance are top notch. When I bought them they were only $6 each, an amazing price for such a functional clip. The only small point of criticism is the somewhat narrow clamping area. The thread clamp has a vertical and horizontal range of approximately 1.25 inches. Rugged. There is nothing wrong with the structure, design or user-friendliness. Excellent security tool that I recommend. But in my particular situation, I want the threaded bolt to be longer so I can hold parts that are thinner than what I attached it to. I installed it on a 3/4" piece of plywood used for cutting small 1/2" pieces of wood on the skid of my table saw. I need to put a small 1/4" piece of wood on top of the 1/2" piece to hold it securely. I ended up replacing the bolt with a…

They are great for attaching custom window coverings to boards!

I have a custom window shop. I bought a total of 4 of these clips. I have them attached to an adjustable stand which I use to attach the saddle pads and sheaths to their boards. They can withstand a lot of weight and the holding pressure is adjustable. The only issue I personally have with them is when you share them. As for me, I have to be careful to keep one hand on the stem when loosening the clamp. Otherwise the end of the threaded rod will hit my bottom thumb and leave an ugly bruise. But
