Review on POWERTEC 20301 Quick 💪 Release Horizontal Clamp - Increased Capacity by Matt Hamilton

Rugged. There is nothing wrong with the structure, design or user-friendliness. Excellent security tool that I recommend. But in my particular situation, I want the threaded bolt to be longer so I can hold parts that are thinner than what I attached it to. I installed it on a 3/4" piece of plywood used for cutting small 1/2" pieces of wood on the skid of my table saw. I need to put a small 1/4" piece of wood on top of the 1/2" piece to hold it securely. I ended up replacing the bolt with a longer carriage bolt with a rubber chair leg tip glued to the end. Works perfectly.
