For longer drill life choose cobalt

I have been using cobalt drills for over 20 years and these 1/16 inch cobalt drills offer the best quality for the money. I have continued to break HSS and TiN bits when drilling wrought iron and 304 stainless steel on the drill press, but not a single bit has broken since switching to cobalt.

Pros
  • jobber drill
Cons
  • not as thick as other drills

The best drills I've ever used.

These drill bits are the best I've ever used. I bought a 12 pack for a stainless steel project and expected four to six bits to be used for this project. I ended up using one tip for the same amount of material I would normally use for six to eight titanium coated tips, costing me three times as much.

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Received mine a day early,

Although I received my drill bits a day earlier than expected, I am disappointed with the bits. In theory, cobalt bits should cut through a grade 9 bolt like butter. These bits hardly leave any marks on the steel. A 9 amp drill is used for this. They work very well with regular steel. You pass the shadow of your average DeWalt or whatever you find in a big department store. I can see that for your daily work they will last a while as they work really well with medium grades of steel. Haven't…

Pros
  • twist drill bit
Cons
  • Slightly torn
