🔌 Powerwinch P7810500AJ Shakeproof Plug Review

I used this male and female connector on my trolling motor because my stock ran out. Works great as it's pretty flat compared to most forks.

Exact replacement, very easy to install, well assembled. I used it to make a brand new cable for my front hitch ball and car battery (or any loose car battery).

Works great and unobtrusive. Ideal for the entrance of portable solar panels in RVs. Why 3 stars? Lid screws were not included. I had to search a long time to find the right one. It would be 5 stars. The package was sealed and no screws.

One of the brass "grommets" inside the plug, which transmits power to the mating plug, has fallen off. There doesn't seem to be any way to keep it in place. Only used this fork once! I contacted Powerwinch support, sent them pictures of the problem and they sent me a new one. Great product support!

I used this and an analog socket to replace a plug/socket for a Minn Kota trolling motor. The old rubber will overheat due to the poor design of the joints, and the rubber on the engine side will deform. This is a great replacement for it. The cable connections are tight, the male-to-female connection is solid. Works great, never gets hot.

Item was an original Powerwinch item, not all marine retail stores that sell a winch, this item is sold. I found it at Revain and it was delivered to my door a few days later. I had to replace the original part when using the handle to help the winch motor and found out late that the handle touched the connector and broke.
