Filter sleeves are fine and should be replaced at least every few weeks.

I like those media tray filters on the bottom. I wish they had a variety of grits for the filter bags but other than that it's a great product, easy for us and good quality. I use them for all my guppy tanks.

AMAZING for my 10G fish and aquatic life

To be honest I just bought a second sponge which is a sponge for my 5 gallon. Use this with Seachem media in my 10 gallon. A small pump doesn't work and I had to get a bigger pump to get the proper airflow. Easy to assemble and clean. Honestly a great buy for me for any tank. I'm sticking with it!

Looks amazing for fish and aquatic animals

For being so valuable. I'm not sure if they can actually filter 60 gallons effectively. My canister filter broke and I used two double barrel filters for 8 days with no problems so not bad I guess. I used k1 stock for the camera because it is very small. I use a 100g Tetra air pump to easily run this thing on the bottom of a 75g tank.

The thing works great! I couldn't be happier

This thing works great! I couldn't be happier. I could easily find a small sintered glass biofilter for cups at my local pet store. Installation was very easy. And my new 40 gallon breeder ran very fast despite having plenty of fertilized substrate known for excessive ammonia emissions. The picture was taken 3 weeks after initial setup and 5 days after planting.

Great filter, bad packaging.

first; Don't waste your money on this pack of filter media - the pieces are MUCH large for canisters. Just go to your local pet or fish store and buy a few pieces from Fluval or another smaller brand. The packaging was pretty unreliable; It came in a plain box, not even sealed. And the tote bag was a bit torn so I had to rinse it out pretty thoroughly. As for the filter itself, I like it so far. It's very quiet and the fact that it can be attached to a tank is a plus as it takes up less spaceโ€ฆ
