🔧 High-Precision PREC4D600F Split Beam Torque Wrench - 3/4" Dr. (200-600 Ft/Lbs): Detachable Head for Enhanced Versatility Review

A few months ago Cornwell Tools advertised this torque wrench in a flyer for $550 (regularly $650). Don't even ask how much a Matco or Snap On 3/4" torque wrench costs! Since I don't use a 3/4" torque wrench very often, this was a no-brainer. I've used it multiple times to tighten the bolt to 518lb/ft. This torque wrench is long enough to apply this torque without using excessive force. My biggest problem with this was making room in my toolbox to accommodate it! Made in the USA too!

After only 3 months of use this torque wrench broke. The problems started when it didn't click when the desired torque was achieved no matter how high or low the setting, resulting in over-torque and damage to safety-critical components that we installed in situations where correct torque is paramount.
