Good price for birds

This material is very thin. I wanted to assemble it and put it together with screws because the pieces interlock and you had to slide them together. When I slid the piece back into place it broke off the piece of wood so I had to reattach wood glue and an extra screw. It works for what I need. Let's see how long this lasts. My chickens love boxes and go straight in.

It does its job, but there are problems with sharp edges

Very easy assembly, no problems, the dimensions are good. Where it loses stars is in the sharp edges of the diagonal partition and outer walls. I noticed streaks of blood on them where my girls stepped on them, slipped down and cut their legs. To all potential buyers reading this I would definitely recommend sanding down these edges before putting them in your stall. It would be nice for the manufacturer if these edges were pre-ground.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • So-so

Little effort and a big deal

Everyone is right. Good and bad. Yes it's cheap, yes some connections don't fit together and can break, yes they're easy to assemble. I had part of a broken dovetail joint BUT I was able to fix it with wood glue and staples. Since I already glued, I glued all the seams on both sides and added a few extra screws to hold the pieces in place. I'll paint it with blackjack gum for easy cleaning before putting my birds in, but this thing is solid. currently. It is VERY durable and very little effort…

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • High price

Nice design and easy assembly, be careful

I have a double bird house kit for a chicken coop I am building just to save time and avoid a trip to the hardware store. It comes disassembled in a flat box - for some reason I was expecting it to be assembled but it turned out to be pretty easy to put together. Most of the parts are joined with dovetail joints and then the top is twisted all together. I really have to say that it *should* have been easy enough to put together, as trying to attach the front I broke one of the hinges - the base

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Damaged

Better quality than I expected

After reading the reviews I wasn't sure how it would work. References to flimsy materials and assembly issues put me off. I had to add bird feeders to the part of the chicken coop now shared by two roosters. Divided the flock for the winter. It's already in the single digits at night, and I really didn't want to build my own bird house from scratch in a cold garage. The materials were more durable than the reviewers had led me to believe. Yes, I had to touch up a bit where the cuts weren't…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
