Sturdy, but adjustability needs work!

They seem solid and well made, but you can't use the turning screw for fine adjustment as the bead hangs on the screw part. So you unscrew it and the calipers don't move with the pivot bolt until you pull it in and then lock it.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Not sure

For finishing touches on tests, measurements and checks

This is exactly what I needed to send the exact measurements. The needles are long and sharp, so find a thick block of foam to rest between uses. The adjustment screw has a very fine pitch, which is great for fine work but tedious when you want to open or close the dividers quickly.

Pros
  • Measure
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Badly made for calipers

I really liked the look of these spacers at Revain so despite a bunch of bad reviews which should have been a warning I went ahead and ordered them. Bad move on my part. You have to be persuaded to level up almost every time you try to use them. It's actually not that bad, because once you "tune" them, they stay at the same level...if you're very gentle. Get a little rough and you'll find yourself tweaking them again. So the actual benefit is zero. To make matters worse, both points were sanded

Pros
  • Inspect, measure and inspect
Cons
  • Big and bulky
