Easily interchangeable best in generators

I installed it as soon as it arrived. It was easy to remove and replace. However, lately I've noticed that my headlight gets a bit brighter when I step on the gas pedal while idling, but I'm fine with that. I don't notice it when driving. For the price it's worth it and I have power.

No brunt! - Starters & Alternators

Precision fit and relatively easy installation if you know how to turn a wrench. The company has also included a test sheet showing the generator's characteristics and power output. 1999 Toyota Tacoma 3.4L v6 Prerunner. Same # as autozone but $50-75 cheaper and no core fees. I'll probably try restoring the old one as a backup.

Great price! The product is of high quality and comes in very secure packaging. My alternator in my Toyota 96 4 Runner has been running for 21 years but it's time to replace it. I'm so glad my machine is working again and thank you to the company for such an excellent product. Many Thanks.!

Difficult to install but works well.

This item works well in my 1998 Toyota 4Runner but was very difficult to install. The top mounting bracket is VERY difficult to fit into the 4Runner bracket. I had to file the ends and tap them with a hammer to insert them into the bracket. The bottom adjuster bolt mounting bolt was also very hard, but I was able to get it in by simply pushing on the adjuster guide to seat the bolt. Once installed I was able to easily charge 14v compared to mine. an old alternator that only put out about 11V…

It really was a great BRAND NEW part!

This was a brand new item as opposed to the local auto parts store where the item has obviously been refurbished, cleaned and painted (there is a reason they have a BASIC circuit board and they want that you have the OLD part (the back). It was a great direct fit OEM part, it also came with a data sheet from QA showing the date of manufacture and testing and the amps built to a specific load.
