Defective and unreliable actuator

Based on my observations this actuator is prone to failing and causing issues with door locks.The only positive aspect is that it may be compatible with certain Volkswagen models. However, the potential for it to malfunction outweighs any benefits..

Works as it's supposed to, hope it lasts as long as OEM batch

Bought for VW Rabbit (Golf) 2008. Installation took about 2 hours after finding all my tools and putting everything away. Look for a HumbleMechanic installation video on Youtube, it helped a lot. VW is notorious for crappy electronics, this car has had 3 out of 4 door latches replaced.
