Premium Electric Module Assembly 1999 2005 Review

I bought this as a last resort when my BMW fuel pump failed. Two days after installation, my gas sensor stopped showing correct readings. It will move VERY slowly. I watched my miles-to-empty gradually increase as I drove. I didn't have such problems before. I am very disappointed that this was the faulty part.

It was a little tricky getting the seal under the cover to fit but not sure if the OEM would have been any different. At the moment it has been running for at least 7 minutes. This is normal in my book. UPDATE: 40,000km later it still works. I had to replace the gasket because after about a year I started smelling gas.

Do not buy at all! The fuel pump only lasted 4 months, bought back in May and now had to replace it in September. On top of that they asked for a replacement under warranty and instead of making an exchange they ask for proof that it didn't fail before sending the exchange. How can I prove that the pump is not pumping enough gas to start the car? I ended up in a junkyard with a used pump and now I'm back on my feet!

Pump works fine but fuel gauge is everywhere. it hasn't always been correct since I installed it. So I have to guess when it's right and when it's wrong. If it was as accurate as the one I replaced I would give it five stars. UPDATE: I've changed my rating to three stars until I can install the replacement that A-Premium sent me. So I'm neutral until I can put a new pump in.

I was about to give up my 3 Series because it kept getting darker and darker while driving and sometimes wouldn't start. After doing some research, I kept pointing out that the problem is in the fuel pump. Took me about 30 minutes to install this part. At the moment I have driven the car about 600 km and no problems. Bought this fuel pump because mine broke down on my BMW 99 e46, installation was easy, with the right tools you can complete it in about 30 minutes or less but works in 2 days everything is fine, the pump is out of order. I had to have the car towed and the shop tech diagnosed the pump as 'failed'. I emailed the company and they sent me a second pump just for the shipping cost.
