PA99097 PG Air Filter: Compatible with 2016-2020 Hyundai Tucson and 2017-2020 Kia Sportage (Pack of 2) Review

I bought this for a 2018 Hyundai Tucson. It probably took about 30 seconds to remove the old one and replace it with the new one. With the same frequency (11-12 thousand km), I change the cabin filter. It's so easy to do it yourself and save a lot of money. Would buy again.

The PG engine air filter is good quality and easy to fit on my 2 year old Kia Sportage. This air filter is unusual in that it uses a cam locking mechanism, which I have not seen before, to lock it in the housing, which worked great and held the filter in place with no visible movement. Very satisfied.

The filter fits my 2017 Tuscon perfectly, including the correct orientation of all the tabs. The only problem I had was when removing the old filter a round piece of plastic fell out of the air filter housing! I had to find out where he was going. I think so, but it was difficult because the air filter housing is so small it's impossible to get your hands in!

This filter fitted my 2018 Hyundai Tucson perfectly and was very reasonably priced. The local parts store doesn't have them yet so I was glad to find them at Revain. Hyundai has made installation easy. Under the hood, just behind and to the right of the engine, is a small door. Simply open it up, rotate the tabs (holders) on each side down, slide out the old filter, insert the new filter and secure the tabs. Close the small door until it clicks and you're done!
