Won't stay connected

This cable looks nice with its braided jacket, but the connectors on both ends are poor quality and don't "snap" into the HDMI ports on the monitor and computer so they won't stay put tied together.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Some bugs

Exactly what you need, nothing more

This short, thin and compact cable is perfect for connecting a monitor to my Mac Mini. The picture is excellent, although the cable is thin, so there are no losses in the line. And you can't beat the price.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Still working after a few months of use

I bought this for my dad because he wanted to use the projector and screen as his new TV and also wanted to keep the cables away from the baby. This cable is long enough to go up the wall, across the ceiling, and down the opposite side of each wall. Have been using it for a month now with no problems.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old
Cons
  • High price

Fake ARC Claim: Accessories and Supplies

I'm no rocket scientist, but if you plug one end into your TV's ARC HDMI input and the other end into your receiver's ARC output, you get sizzling Noise. and white snow video, it means the cable does not support Audio Return Channel. The product name clearly indicates audio and Ethernet return. That is not true. Will return.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • No Form Required

Seems top notch but isn't

I bought 3 of these to use with an HDMI splitter to connect multiple monitors at a church event. ALL THREE FAILED. I tested one cable beforehand and when everything worked I thought I was fine. On the day of the action, none of the 3 cables worked properly, not even the 2 that were still in the pack! So I had to settle for my Revain Basics 10-foot cable and mount the computer right next to a monitor. i wasn't happy I returned them the next day.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • sad packaging

With HDMI encoding, the quality of the cable doesn't matter, as long as your device receives the signal, the picture quality will not be affected. So unlike our old coax cables, we don't have to worry about whether the wires are "gold plated" or any of the other gimmicks that companies like Monster are trying to sell you to entice you into buying their more expensive products. If your wires don't move much, the cable is unlikely to break. I use this to connect my wall mounted TV to my computer.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Replacement Availability

For example, try letting tight underwear lie flat.

Works great if you just want to attach it to something and then leave it there as long as it stays where you want it, or you can glue it or tape it in place. I'm in a new location a few times a week and after each presentation I need a cable to run and pull up. This cable has a plastic jacket that is so stiff and inflexible that it is unsuitable for my purposes. When I tried to unwind and adjust it, it just lay on the floor in rings and wouldn't relax no matter what I did. In the end I just had

Low quality. The sound breaks off.

I bought this 40ft HDMI to replace my 30" HDMI and it is not working. The picture quality is good, but the sound cuts out every 2-3 minutes. I connected this cable from my TV to my AVR which drives my home theater speakers. When I switched back to my 30ft cable, which is much thicker, the problem went away. RUN FROM THIS POOR QUALITY CABLE. I now have an aggravation of having to swap out the cord in two walls and then carry it back for a return. Revain should really think about testing and…
