As another reviewer noted, remove the window and inner window seal and the install is smooth. Looks like a factory unit, seems to work well, no complaints.

Plastic is garbage. I installed a lot and this is the worst. You must handle it very carefully when installing, otherwise it will break. I ended up having to use the parts I removed to install it, I don't recommend that.

Easy Install and Everything Works Great. Make sure the window is about halfway up/down so you can access the studs. Also, use tape to secure the window once you release it. It took me about 10 minutes to change.

This was just what I needed to fix my Jeep Cherokee. better than a replacement, I don't think it mentions anywhere that this is a FIXED design! The worm wheel groove is METAL, not the problematic plastic OEM. Wahoo! Looks like I won't have to replace this again!

Although 4 stars, the design differs slightly from the OEM. It was a little tricky getting it in the door but it's 8 10mm bolts, nuts, a clip and that's it. I did it in less than 20 minutes and everything works great. It's slower compared to the OEM part but still rolls up and down well. I will update if anything changes and how long it will take.

I bought this to replace a 20 year old window regulator motor that failed when I first used it, the protective tube along the winding broke and Tore off. This completely failed the winding spool, causing the window to fail again. Unfortunately I didn't have time to wait for a replacement so I had to hastily assemble a bad spool I received to hold it together until I find a better one. Substitute. Cheap materials.

The parts store wanted about $150 for it so that price is amazing. The facility wasn't bad. To make the installation a little easier I removed all the gaskets and took out the window and then installed the regulator. There is much more space to work. Also, do not overtighten the 2 screws that attach it to the window. Just tighten them, and then even tighter, you don't want to break the window.
