Premium Supports Struts Excursion 1999 2007 Review

bonnet lifter on my 2001 F-250. These things work better than advertised. They are better than the stocks I had when I bought my truck over 10 years ago. I would recommend. Also, the installation was very easy and quick.

I had no idea how easy the installation was. I almost completely disassembled the old ones until I realized I only have to pull a bit. Once I figured out how to install them, it took longer to open the package than it did to install the parts! Now I need to buy some for the tailgate of my wife's SUV.

Received a few weeks ago. But so far they work great. One of them managed to keep my hood open. I found out when my 2x4 fell off and the hood wouldn't slam shut. But both are now on and working great, and as soon as I pop the hood about a quarter open it pops all the way up. I like it. And when they run out (hopefully in a few years), I'll buy a new set.

Assembly was quick, fits perfectly, works like a charm when I lift and hold that heavy hood on my Excursion. Only complaint, shipping via Revain was a bit slow but packaging was great. No problem, we'll see how long they last. Stock about 19 years old. Seems pretty solid, works well, it's a heavy hood and they immediately lifted it and held it up in high winds while I was working on the 7.3.
