I don't know how they get such high quality at this price. Even the packaging was top notch. Even came with a ball screw. They open the hood really well and I'm glad I have them.

As mentioned in previous reviews, it will NOT fit Mk3 Supra directly without the need for a socket modification. The factory ball joint cup does not provide proper engagement like the original struts.

The joints didn't swivel enough to just snap into place. Requires assembly work for disassembly/assembly, not suitable for those with mechanical problems. It was a question of do I have to go to the trouble of getting them to work and they work perfectly once installed, or do I have to go to the trouble of getting my money back and ordering another brand that will be an exact one when exchanged replacement is.

Does not fit 87 Supra. I decided to change them to make them work as the price was low. The problem is that the ball's "seat" isn't vertically wide enough for the bolt that connects to the hood. The bolt approached the hole at an impossible angle. I cut off some of the metal on the edge of the bushing at the top until the angle is right. Once installed they worked great, just lift the hood and they take control and slide to the top position.

To fit a 1984 Toyota Celica Supra - USA model. The included ball joint hardware was the correct diameter and thread to replace the stock hardware and the strut was the correct length and thickness. Removed existing hardware which consisted of 1 ball joint and 1 screw. The standard brace has a slot on the side of the engine mount with a straight bolt for attachment to the chassis and a ball joint on the hood.
