I have tried many different collars for my only dog who pulls a lot on walks. She couldn't stand the gentle leader, the harness only gave her more strength to perform the mighty army crawl and the regular collar didn't help. It worked better than I expected. This was essentially my last line before trying a metal collar and I'm glad I went down this route.

suits my bloodhound well, it doesn't choke him but when he tries to free himself he shrinks so he doesn't blow his head off. my dog has been wearing this collar for 6 months and is now 8 months old because it is adjustable, i slowly let it out as he grows and it still works great. The photo you see was taken now when she is 8 months old as you can see he is still in great shape. VERY HAPPY!

First let me say that I have a pit bull that is MUCH stronger than me. He still has you-hoo too, so he's very keen on when he's attracted to a woman, spot on. this collar is beautiful. I hate keeping up with a tow chain and it scared some people to anticipate my pit, but this collar works with a tow chain AND looks good. More accessible for those afraid of dogs or pits. Well I've been looking for 5/8" wide collars and found these (because they were sponsored they made it to the top of the search but it's not 5/8) .' collar). I have no complaints about the quality of the part, I'm just pissed that I went shopping and missed out and got a wider collar than I was looking for. This collar didn't once had the courage to put it at 3/4" in the description so I can easily catch it. I'm arguing about getting it back (ridiculously over 1/8 inch, but I feel cheated).

I bought this for my English Springer Spaniel puppy. I really like it, it's stronger and better quality than any I've bought before the last time I had it. hop off and the rest hop off before this one detaches itself and she can't slip it over her head. This collar was purchased for my service dog who HATEs uncomfortable collars. He LOVES this collar - the first in the world. He likes it so much that on rare occasions it comes off; for crawling or bathing - he never loses sight of the spot and as soon as he's done he follows and makes me wear it.
