I bought these tiny beeswax wicks because they said they would fit candles up to 4" in diameter. That's a lie. These wicks could not burn properly even in half liter jars. The wick simply tunnels down, creating maybe an inch or less of wax on either side. Save money and buy another wick.

Many of the wicks you find at Revain are not rated. So, as a beginner, you think all wicks are the same. Well they aren't, many other wicks may seem cheaper but unless you make votive candles they won't burn well. For jar candles, you'll need a thicker wick that will last long enough to burn off the wax.

To be honest I think I love them more than the CD cotton wick series. It's honestly amazing. And surprisingly, despite having a larger wick compared to a CD 12, the glass doesn't get nearly as hot as the top when lighting a candle of the same size with a CD 12 or 14. Despite the higher cost of my overheads, it might be worth it.
