Makes Prep Time Easier!

This gadget is a game-changer for anyone who loves tuna. As a result of my tests, I determined that this gadget saves a lot of time and makes the process of draining and flaking the tuna much easier. The squeezer is very effective at getting all the excess liquid out of the can, resulting in a nice and easy-to-work-with tuna. However, the press is a bit on the smaller side, which may be frustrating for those with larger cans. Overall, a great addition to any home and kitchen.

Pros
  • Efficiently drains water and oil from canned tuna.
Cons
  • Difficult to use for individuals with weak grip or hand strength.

Great concept - wrong size for regular tuna cans!

Glad I bought it but haven't used it for a while. I made this this week and found it to be the same size as regular tuna cans! It would work if it was smaller and you could put it in a glass to squeeze the water out, BUT IT DON'T! As I mentioned, it's the same size as tuna cans, so it's not included. Instead, I filled it with tuna and dried the tuna with a spoon. What good is a juicer if you don't know how to use it properly? Dissatisfied. Although it was a good idea. If only I were the right…

Pros
  • This Prepworks from Progressive Tuna Press can drain tuna, vegetables and other canned foods cleanly
Cons
  • Good mostly, but...

Prep Progressive Can Strainer

It's amazing how useful such a small kitchen utensil can be. It is much easier and more accurate to drain the water from canned food using this strainer, rather than through the lid of the jar. Yes, I agree, this item shouldn't cost more than $2 considering how inexpensive it is to manufacture. But this is a one-time purchase that will hopefully last for many years. I wish the plastic used was something more like silicone. I'm afraid the thin hard plastic can become brittle and crack/break…

Pros
  • Punch holes in tuna cans to separate the tuna from the liquid, then pour the excess down the sink
