Prep Progressive Can Strainer

It's amazing how useful such a small kitchen utensil can be. It is much easier and more accurate to drain the water from canned food using this strainer, rather than through the lid of the jar. Yes, I agree, this item shouldn't cost more than $2 considering how inexpensive it is to manufacture. But this is a one-time purchase that will hopefully last for many years. I wish the plastic used was something more like silicone. I'm afraid the thin hard plastic can become brittle and crack/break. Crossed fingers! I guarantee you try this handy gadget and you will never want to be without it again.

Pros
  • Punch holes in tuna cans to separate the tuna from the liquid, then pour the excess down the sink
