🧀 Efficient Prepworks Ceramic Butter Warmer Fondue Set: Essential for Melt-in-Your-Mouth Fondue Experience Review

This is not a functional product. The distance between a candle and a ceramic basin can be up to a meter; I can stick my index finger between the flame and the bottom of the cup with no discomfort. I've had a standard candle burning for two hours now and a tablespoon of salted butter that's still in a solid form, so I definitely wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Tested in a draft-free room at approximately 66-67 degrees Fahrenheit.

We had served lobster tails with 8 people in our dining room on New Year's Eve. We filled the butter into molds and the guest lit the candles while we were about to sit down at the table. After 5 minutes the oil was boiling, cracking and splattering all over the table and linen napkins. It was terrible! We had to blow out the candles and use the oil without heat. The pots are small, have very little oil and don't fit properly on the saucers. Terrible purchase! DO NOT BUY!

I was very impressed with this product as it is perfect for a fondue dinner at home. I pre-melted the cheese and added it to one to keep it warm and pre-melted the chocolate in the other. The temperature doesn't get hot enough to melt right into the ceramic, but it keeps it perfectly warm and melts as soon as you put it in. In general, they are not big. BUT they were the perfect size for a fondue night for two. Also, you'll likely find yourself filling up often throughout the night.

The metal construction was crappy and uneven. The tea stand is too far from the ceramic bowl to heat or melt the butter. Allow the tea light to burn out completely and only a small amount of melted butter will remain at the bottom of the ceramic bowl. There is no marking on the bottom of the ceramic bowl to indicate where it was made, which bothered me. The return was not worth it due to the costs, so it went straight into the bin after the first use. I tried to give zero stars but have to give

I bought these when deciding to cook crab legs and other seafood for my son's 30th birthday surprise party. His friend wanted to cook all the food for me and I looked at my collection of small bowls and decided I needed to make something else for the melted butter. I have ordered several of these; They come 2 per box, I put one between two people and everyone was so happy the warm ghee was ready. I could add little pats if needed and they melted instantly.
