I had high hopes for the bread bin but was very disappointed when it arrived. This is because there is no locking mechanism to prevent the two parts from separating. If you're single or a couple and you know you can gently expand or open the box, you might be fine. I am a mother with children who are 16 years old and these children have friends in our house who also call me mother. I have previously purchased the Original Breadkeeper and have been pleased with how it keeps my sandwiches fresh without having to use and throw away plastic bags.
