I Admit I Didn't Expect it to Work!

If I had a place to grow herbs, I would. But I don't, and so I'm always buying bunches at the grocery to use in a single dish. If I don't make the effort to preserve them (process them into a paste and freeze in an ice cube tray for "fresh" frozen herb bricks or, in the case of mint and rosemary, leaving them out to dry), after a few days I'll be sadly tossing out the limp and/or rotting remainders. To keep herbs fresh for more than 2 days, I've tried wrapping them in a barely damp paper towel…

Pros
  • The Herb Savor Pod's compact design is perfect for small kitchens with limited storage space
Cons
  • The lid may not seal tightly, allowing odors to escape

Good idea, not large enough to store anything useful.

The storage container is top heavy. It tips over if you keep it in the refrigerator door shelf. You may have to adjust a shelf if you keep it in the back of your refrigerator. I bought a three pack and I rarely use any because the storage space is too small in my opinion. Would not recommend.

Pros
  • The Herb Savor Pod's innovative design helps to reduce the amount of plastic waste produced in the kitchen
Cons
  • The herb saver may develop a strange odor over time

These containers work!

They keep my parsley and green onions fresh for a long time, love them, gave one to my daughter, she loves it, too! The plastic may discolor or become brittle with prolonged use.

Pros
  • The Herb Savor Pod's refillable water reservoir can be easily filled without removing the herbs from the pod
Cons
  • The plastic may discolor or become brittle with prolonged use

its true, the lid wont stay shut

like all other reviewers, the lid would not stay shut. I just prop it next to the wall and it does the job, but it could be better. It does extend the life of your fresh herb for a bit longer. i just wish it was manufactured better. a simple rubber band would fix the issue

Pros
  • Food Containers
Cons
  • The material is not dishwasher safe

Kitchen gadgets dream

If you like kitchen gadgets and fresh green veggies like me, this is the product for you. I have had my green onions in there for weeks now and they are still fresh! I can even put a small piece with the root and it will grow. Love these!

Pros
  • I used this for my parsley and cilantro.
Cons
  • The herb pod may fall over in the refrigerator

My Herbs Stay Fresh SO Much Longer!

I love this product! My herbs have stayed fresh for weeks, whereas before they would stay fresh for only a few days. I love the look of these. My only complaint is that 1 out of the 3 doesn’t close well, but that’s easily fixed with a rubber band.

Pros
  • It helps to save money by reducing waste and avoiding the need to constantly purchase fresh herbs
Cons
  • The herb pod may be too flimsy for some users

Does not stay closed

I loved the idea of these, before I purchased, I was keeping my herbs in a glass in the fridge. I saw something similar on TikTok so I searched Best Buy. These DO NOT stay closed. It’s super annoying. Then since they’re not closed, the herbs wilt. Save your money

Pros
  • The Herb Savor Pod's design prevents the need for plastic bags or other wasteful packaging when storing herbs
Cons
  • The product may not be worth the money for some consumers

Buena inversión on my review.

Las hierbas se mantienen frescas lo único de un contenedor me salió defectuoso se abre y no se mantiene cerrado tengo que sujetarlo con una liga

Pros
  • Our Herb Saver line is extensive and they beautifully fit any kitchen décor. Oprah Winfrey famously selected the Prepara Herb Savor product as one of her Ultimate Favorite Things; Oprah says she was in an herb tizzy. "I was asking everybody, 'How do you keep herbs fresh?' including Martha Stewart herself," she says. "But then I discovered this." The Prepara Herb Savor keeps herbs fresh for up to three weeks, depending on the herb, by submerging the stems in water. "It's a basil saver," Oprah says.
Cons
  • It may not be airtight

For half a bunch on my review.

This container does keep herbs fresh. You can fit a full bunch of cilantro or parsley, but you have to really push all the leaves out of the way so that that they don't get stuck between the closing. I don't have the patience to tuck everything in so I just slam it shut in it lookes very messy. Would be nice if it was a bit wider. This may be good for green onions or other items that aren't that bushy. 2.5" external width. I couldn't fit a full bunch of asparagus either.

Pros
  • The Herb Savor Pod's clear plastic base allows for easy visibility of the herbs within
Cons
  • The container may take up too much space in smaller refrigerators

This is extremely small

This is a small pod. A small batch of green onions or asparagus will not fit. You really have to smash in a bunch of parsley or cilantro to make it fit. The door keep popping open too. Brand new, I have to secure it closed with a rubber band. It's a great concept though, only if it were sized appropriately.

Pros
  • The Herb Savor Pod is a great tool for teaching kids about the importance of food preservation and minimizing food waste
Cons
  • Weak Construction

Needs improvement - my new review

It kept my herbs fresh especially my mint longer than normal, but I would of like to have a click to keep it close, it opens to easy when I put it in the fridge.

Pros
  • It is an affordable storage solution that is perfect for people of all income levels
Cons
  • Prepara Herb Savor Pod 2.0 may not be available for purchase in all countries

I like not having to use glass bottles to keep herbs and Asparagus fresh but the problem with this product it does stay close ,so I have to put a rubber band to keep them close .

Pros
  • The Herb Savor Pod is sturdy and won't easily break or crack, even after prolonged use
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for some individuals with mobility issues

Luv these! - my new review

It's true, these DO extend the life of herbs. And it's so simple.I will be getting more of these, cuz I hate how many times I've had to throw herbs out after a week. So far 2.5 weeks and the parsley is lovely and crisp.

Pros
  • A gift of home grown herbs.
Cons
  • You may forget which herb is which

I love these!: my feedback

They work so well! They keep all my cut herbs fresh for a long time. Instead of wilting within a day I can keep them fresh for a week or 2. I would recommend them to anyone

Pros
  • It is a durable and long-lasting storage solution that can withstand heavy use
Cons
  • The herb saver may be difficult to stack if you have multiple containers

Pretty good: my feedback

Kept green onions pretty fresh and kept growing. Celantro was a little tougher. Went bad after five days. That's my review!

Pros
  • It's the perfect solution for people who don't have access to a garden but still want to use fresh herbs in their cooking
Cons
  • The herb saver may not keep the herbs fresh for an extended period

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice product: my feedback

Works as described. I wish the caliber was bigger as a bunch of cilantro is sold bigger than what this holds. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • It is a versatile storage solution that can be used for both fresh and dried herbs
Cons
  • The herb pod may not be compatible with certain types of refrigerators or shelving

We were skeptical. It proved us wrong!

We really were skeptical about this product but it def works different vs putting it in a mason jar with water and a baggy on top :) previously, our herbs and green onions would last a few days in fridge. Now we can get a couple WEEKS! Yes. That’s the truth and I am not compensated for this post. Buy it! :)

Pros
  • With its compact size, the Herb Savor Pod fits neatly in most refrigerator doors
Cons
  • You may forget to use the herb pod altogether

Keeps Herbs Fresh - A Little Tipsy in an Annoying Way

Overall, I like these pods. Their slim profile is deceiving, and they can hold a fairly large bunch of parsley, dill or cilantro. They keep these fragile herbs quite fresh, and I find it so convenient to keep the three pods handy inside the refrigerator door where they are easy to access. My previous storage method involved silicone bags which were often misplaced in my crammed to the limit, too small refrigerator. The one thing I dislike is that they are so tipsy and fall over easily, risking…

Pros
  • It is a great gift for foodies and home cooks who enjoy using fresh herbs in their dishes
Cons
  • The herb saver may be prone to leaking

Revainrating 3 out of 5

After a few uses it won’t stay closed.

At first it worked well but, after a few uses the plastic door seems out of alignment and won’t stay closed. Therefore herbs don’t stay fresh

Pros
  • The design of the Herb Savor Pod allows for air to circulate, preventing moisture buildup that can cause herbs to spoil
Cons
  • The herb pod may be difficult to find in stores

Revainrating 3 out of 5

An interesting idea but has room for improvement.

Ok, first let me start of a positive note. These pods have worked well for keeping my cilantro fresh and usable for a good couple of weeks. And that is a plus. These get a little trickier for many other herbs I store. They don’t work at all for chives. No matter how I’ve tried to store Basil, in or outside the refrigerator, basil doesn’t store well in these pods. But, the biggest problems I have with these pods are they are top heavy and the doors do not make a good connection so they do not…

Pros
  • It's so simple- rinse and pat dry your basil, cilantro, mint, parsley, chives, rosemary, oregano, thyme, dill or even your asparagus. Place them into the Pod and add some fresh water through the tethered filler cap. Remember to empty the old water and refill every 3 to 5 days and the herbs will be happy for up to 3 weeks!
Cons
  • The herb pod could break if dropped
