Fast delivery of accessories and consumables

Fast shipping, product was in good condition when it arrived, antenna looked great, it just didn't work for my setup, couldn't get the SWR low enough, it was mounted on a jeep in between Spare and back door, which is difficult to match with the antenna at this point and gives good readings. I'm going back to the 102 whip for better SWR.

component quality? Best Accessories and Consumables

Upgrade** Top whip kept falling off ruining my SWR. They sent new bolts, but they're still soft metal, so the allen wrench can't tighten them without rounding off the flat surfaces. To return. A few decent screws would be nice. Allen screws are very soft. The included Allen wrench simply turns the screw to remove to adjust the length of the whip. company contacted. Their website doesn't list any support contacts, only "info@"

Works perfectly! best in Antennas

I've always compared HF antennas to my 102" antennas (108 if you count spring and riser). Of course, no mobile antenna will ever outperform or last longer than a 102" antenna, but this one is pretty damn close! I've had everything from a 7" Firestik to a Wilson 5000 and Texas totally amazed me! At almost 84 inches tall I was a bit skeptical that it would be a burden (why I took my 102 off) but since it's foldable I figured what the heck. Excellent antenna tuned to 1.2 on channel 1,20,40.

High-performance antenna

I mounted it on a luggage rack with antenna brackets. The holes for mounting the antenna in the mounts are large, but the Procomm JBC930 Super Extra Heavy Duty 3/8-24 Stud Ham Radio and CB Radio Antenna Mount fits well. I'm sure similar products will hold the antenna as well. This bracket has survived several antennas. so I decided to keep using it. I connected my dainty Midland CB and analog SWR meter to the antenna using a 25ft LMR-240 RG8X coax cable. The SWR was in the 1.2 range from CH1 to

THIS ANTENNA MAKES TEXAS PROUD

This is a large antenna so be prepared to get a strong mount for it. My downside was that I couldn't get it with a PL mount. Apparently they are only sold with a 3/8 mount in North America. Everywhere in the world it is PL. However, there was one bright spot in all of this - I had to choose a new mount, in my case a magnetic mount, so I bought a three magnet tram mount specifically for "Texas" and I'm glad I did. . At 83.5 inches in diameter, there's no way I can rely on my Wilson PL magnetic…
