Cycling is more fun now - less work

I've been using mine for a year now. No leaks. No defects. This prestaflator mini makes cycling more fun and less time consuming. I bought a ten foot rubber hose to connect to my air compressor. I don't need a gauge as I only set the outlet pressure in psi on my compressor. I have five bikes with Stan's sealant, so this tubeless work accounts for the majority of my compressor usage, on top of just topping up the tire pressure.

Great tool for tuning your tubeless bike

There were a few of these tire inflation tools here at Revain and I chose this one to tune our tubeless mountain bikes. For this purpose it works great! I didn't think a gauge and extra tube were necessary and now that I have this tool I feel that its small size helps you to more easily press it directly onto the valve stem for initial tubeless inflation. 5 out of 5 I would buy again for my purposes.

  • Great price

A must in every tubeless tool box.

I was having trouble mounting tubeless mountain bike tires. I have a 26 gallon compressor so air volume wasn't an issue. I used a Schrader adapter on a Presta and couldn't bleed fast enough. Most of the time I either took the rim to my LBS and had it done or used a CO2 cartridge to set the tire properly. Well those days are gone, this Presta inflator is amazing. 29 x 2.3 installed without problems.

It seems to work. for Sport

Mediocre quality. The cartridge is difficult to engage and disengage from the valve stem, and the control valve lets in more air than it pumps into the tire. The title is the best I can say; It's better than having to screw in a Schrader/Presta adapter every time you want to fill a pre-vent valve setup. I will probably transfer the cartridge to the valve of the blow gun, this is what the handle looks like. I had high hopes for money. The SKS Schrader Presta adapter and "tire inflation gun" are…

Problems from the start

Should have been sent back ASAP. I switched to tubeless tires; I bought it for my compressor. I thought the leaks were coming from my tubeless setup; somewhere. I have already passed the return date and confirmed many times that the head is leaking and the magnitude of the resulting air pressure is very different. Others have commented that re-sealing the ports on both ends with more Teflon tape fixed the issue. The device looks premium, but I doubt that now. I'll try to play around with teflon

Breathable, difficult to turn on and off without damaging your Presta

, I have been using this cartridge for about a year. The cartridge pulls a lot of air through the start valve during operation. When the compressor puts out 90psi, sometimes it will build to full pressure and fill the tire in about 1 second, sometimes it will inflate for 5 seconds and barely get to 20psi. Really annoying to use. My tire blew because it filled up quickly if I wasn't careful enough. I'm also having a hard time turning the chuck on and off, and yesterday I broke the set screw on…

Refuel quickly and with one hand (for street tires)

Pretty well made I would say the quality is ok for the price and the features described. I use it on a 100psi supercharged rig. Open the tire valve, squeeze, pull the trigger, wait for inflation to stop and remove. Close the valve and you're done. Let common sense guide you. Squeeze several times before reaching full pressure when installing a new hose. The hand pump empties the pinched hose. The trigger valve leaks a bit under pressure, which isn't a big deal as it's common with any air tool…

  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

Not worth the money. Works like.

It just seems to work. It consists of a cheap air gun that pulls a lot of air through the valve and ports. I was able to improve this by taking it apart and applying teflon tape to the pivots and valve, but that was only a minor improvement. The rubber sleeve in the lining quickly wore out after 3 uses. A tiny replacement bushing costs $6. Bought for tubeless. It works, but the air leak is so loud it's hard to hear when the beads engage, and the loss of airflow can mean it's underperforming for
