Do not order if you want the correct bowl size. This one is for budgies. Too small. Does not match the pictures and the description

It could have been more. It's only 2.5 x 2.5 x 4.5. The size is half the size stated in the description. I am extremely disappointed!

It is well made, has a screw attachment in the back for attaching to the cage but can be left on the ground so most birds cannot turn around.

This is a great option to prevent your chicks from pooping in the feeders. After a while our bird learned not to poop in normal bowls. I still love this one! It's a little harder to fill than regular bowls, but it's worth not cleaning it daily and throwing away dirty food.

I bought the larger size and use it for our quality sea salt supplement that we are happy to offer our free range hens. Initially I had salt in a metal dispenser but as you can imagine it rusted out pretty quickly. Also, the metal dispenser was too big. Our chickens don't eat a lot of salt so it's best to have a smaller dispenser as they're more likely to eat the salt before it becomes too uncomfortable.
