The birds loved to make messes

Our parrots didn't use it for nesting (in hindsight I think they're too young) but they happily tore the box apart and made a mess with the string . Ginger and Pepper give this product a 5/5.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Was damaged

Birds liked it - cages and accessories

and that's the main thing. The threads are soft and could make a good bedding but they just pulled them out of the box and left them on the wire rack. Then they destroyed the box. I guess I didn't think that was a good idea because of the colored ink.

Cotton yarn nest

My little finches like this nesting material much better than the coconut fiber they wrap around their necks. I managed to save the finch and get them this. I've used this type before and they seem to prefer it.

Pros
  • Hard-wearing workmanship
Cons
  • Unreliable

Not attached because I couldn't attach

I buy boxes of nesting material to keep the bird active, but it's practically useless because the 'clip' attaching it to the cage fell off when I tried to fasten it. I transferred the material to a box from another provider. I will not buy again.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Expandable
