Bought these for my grand nephew. He is 2.25 years old. This kid LOVES golf. This is madness. That's ALL he wants to do! He has surprisingly (for a 2 year old!) a good drive. Typically, he can hit one of those hollow plastic golf balls about 30 to 40 feet in a straight arc, about 6 feet off the ground at the top of the arc! These balls are great when trying to measure direction and distance, but don't plan on using them for too long when practicing with a driver. However, they work well with medium and short irons. When I first got the balls I noticed that they were very light and sounded like they were hollow on impact. I cut one open to make sure they are NOT hard like the packaging says.
