Spare part Best in Fittings

Removed original part for dog flap, then we lost it. None of the local hardware stores had this for sale. It was perfect for my spare.

Fast delivery and good price

Glad to find this item. Suitable for Pella patio doors. When I called them, they didn't offer to help me find a replacement part. I was happy to find this part.

fits perfectly - door hardware and locks

We have removed the original stop for the dog door insert. Our dog has already passed and we cannot find the real attacker. This fits perfectly and now we can lock the sliding door again.

Fits Pella Sliding Door

Very thankful to have found this for my Pella sliding patio door. I moved into a house that didn't have that one item so the latch with a hook could catch on something so it could be locked. It comes with four screws. Easy to set up and install. I can finally lock my patio door!

Pros
  • Excellent Overall
Cons
  • Not Bad

My best friend died so he took out the pad and .

Installed a new Pella sliding door 10 years ago but never installed a lock because I installed a ratchet door insert. My best friend died so he pulled out the insoles and there was no Castle Peace anywhere. This part fits perfectly. I miss my dog scanner πŸ•πŸ’•

The lock hole is too narrow

I tried to install this but the hole of this product is exactly the size of the latch. That means if you adjust that 1/10th of a millimeter to the left or right, it won't go into the hole and jam. I screwed it up and down 10 times to get it right but in the end it seemed impossible and I put 100 holes in the door frame. I say it's really bad design not to leave 1mm extra space on the sides.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • No automatic

Worked with Jeld-Wen

Bought a used Jeld-Wen V-2500 vinyl door and it's gone. The screws are a little short if you want to securely attach it to the frame for maximum security. I used some 2 1/2" grippers I had laying around and they worked great. I'll paint them later and fill in the old screw holes with white caulk. The color is a little darker than the door, but that's not hers Blame it and it doesn't bother me.A few quick turns on the set screws on the door lock and it's tight with very little play. For the…
