Good fit but no instructions

No instructions. It fits my old mounts so I didn't have to fit new ones. There is a screw on one end for adjusting the tension. Works well but we'll see how it holds up. I had no luck with them in FL!

Works great on my screen doors.

I bought one for my back door and it works so well I bought one for my front door. Simply install the breech and adjust by turning the screw at the end of the barrel. Great price, lasted a month and still works.

  • Pretty impressive

Never worked best in door closers

Having waited 2 months to try and adjust the door closer I missed the opportunity to return this non-working item. It offers virtually no Storm Door slowdown. Do not expect this item to work upon receipt. Try adjusting the speed shortly after installation to make sure it doesn't break like mine.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Good but not great

It's fully adjustable with a screwdriver, so I'm not sure if people understand that or not. The only thing that stinks is that you have to mount it on YOUR door. Once you get it right, it gets fixed and you don't have to tweak again until it's dead to you. This is my second in 8 years. Thanks, not bad considering the price paid is a…

  • High marks for grip and durability from testers

Light use only: door hardware and locks

I bought this for a standard glass storm door at the front of my house, it was easy to install and at first glance it seemed perfect, it worked. But that didn't last long. Soon after not much use as I usually come and go through the garage the air pressure just dropped completely. In the end it was very disappointing, but it was very cheap and worked great for a while. I would not recommend this unless you plan on just getting a quick fix when selling your property. If you really intend to…
