🔒 Enhance Privacy with the PrivacyDevil PD170W Screen - A 17.0" Display Privacy Filter Review

This privacy screen works great when you are on the side of the computer, it is all black. I would recommend it for a laptop. I have it in a cube, and anyone standing behind my cube can see it because the further away, the wider the line of sight. Still a great product as advertised.

Excellent screen protection with both gloss and matte sides. Since my screen has a frame I prefer to use slide tabs rather than tape but I can understand if someone would want to use double sided tape for a frameless screen.

I'm just disappointed that I didn't understand its purpose. It is NOT intended for use in the sun or outdoors to reduce outdoor glare. It's for privacy as they say. I work from home so it was more important to be able to sit outside on sunny days and still read the screen. Otherwise it's a great product anyway.

I had to trim it down a bit with a razor to fit my screen. Works well and just use it as I type. I never delete it and forget it's even on the screen. The screen gets a little darker, but that's to be expected. I love the extra privacy it offers.

The product does not correspond to the declared. It doesn't completely black out my screen, and my co-workers sitting next to me and behind me can still see my screen a bit. It's not wide enough so about 1/2 inch of my screen isn't dimmed which is driving me nuts! Very dissatisfied with this purchase and I DO NOT recommend it, keep shopping. You get what you pay for!

What a disappointment! The blue stickers are too long for the edges of the screen and the software application seems impossible to remove and I can't separate them without ruining them. So he just sits sad with me. I'm using a flash app, not an extensible one. Shit because it's a good screen, I just can't put it on!

The main thing I liked about this privacy screen is that it's cheaper than most others I've found. I need this for my school exams and it helps. I sit in an exam room with a hundred other people and see no difference in quality between this and most others. The glue held. Perhaps it's important to note that I keep the privacy screen on 24/7 so longevity can be improved. As with all privacy screens, viewing angle is important.
