This top is very cute and offers enough support. I am a tall woman and I ordered XXXL. I usually carry 2X or 24W. Based on that, you may need to increase the size by one size. My 13 year old daughter wears this top all summer. She wanted a two-piece swimsuit but not a thong bikini. This top gives her plenty of coverage and support. With details on the straps, it doesn't feel like a "sports bra". However, it worked like a sports bra and she went straight from the pool to soccer practice. The only reason I took the star off was because the elastic at the bottom started to stretch a bit. However, this is after a good machine wash and dry, so mine is bad.

I bought three of these and wore them in Mexico for two weeks. They have a strong petrochemical smell at first but that goes away and if they fit they are good quality for the money you pay. I say "if" because I bought three of the same size and each had a slightly different elastic. And one of them I returned had a pattern not listed here as an option, like scraps of other patterns that can be seen together. Decide if you have one that really fits.
