Jack for 3 tons, not for 6 tons.

That's 3 tons each, 6 tons total. So if you're not planning on putting them next to each other (not sure if you're even going to get 6 tons) then look elsewhere for 6 tons. The 3 ton jacks worked very well. The locking pin worked as advertised.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not bad

Best value for money

I did a lot of research to look for a double locking stand. I originally wanted the Omega 6 Ton Jack (OME32068) but found out that the Omega and Pro-Lift are from the same Shinn Fu America company. That's why they look the same except for the paint job. In terms of performance, they are durable and I feel safe using them.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Unreliable

Very strong and secure

These jacks are the strongest and most secure I have ever owned, even ones that cost a lot more. Most importantly, I can't stress enough the function of the safety pin. This is a necessary thing. Horror stories have been circulating the internet about people who, while working under a car, have accidentally hit the handles with tools and dropped the car on themselves. Please don't skimp when you buy coasters with safety pin feature. Your life may depend on it!

Healthy, healthy, healthy!

These are not your weak, weak, weak jacks. Bought these to work with my Ford Edge and other vehicles. I didn't want to skimp on jacks as I want confidence in what my car is holding while I'm there. The price was good enough for me to upgrade to these 6 ton models over lower rated models. This rating gives me confidence that they will not fail easily as I won't get very close to that rating with my cars. The build quality seems very good and I just don't see these things pushing out the 2 ton…

  • Lasting test results

  • Not everything fits

DEADLY FALSE ADVERTISING

The heading of this listing is '1 pack'. You actually get two jacks rated at 3 tons each. None that holds six tons. All jacks say "6 tons"! It even has '6 TONS' stamped on the metal! But that's not the case! If you keep reading the super small print that says "for a pair" in super small print. If I hadn't read the fine print I could have killed myself by crawling under my RV and trusting a 3 ton jack to do a 6 ton job. Misleading in the most dangerous way. Lives are at stake with this product…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Bad quality control! Or maybe a used item! Beware!

I read reviews and some of those who replied said it was sent used. For the price I was okay with risking those 6 ton wagons. I don't mind buying a used item, I just don't like paying for a NEW item and getting a USED item. I just received them today and the red lifter parts have a lot of dents and paint chips out of the box. The gray base also has traces of red paint at the contact points and the bottom of the legs appear to have wear from contact with the ground. I don't have time to return…

  • I don't remember but there was something

The greatest technical stupidity I've ever seen.

READ BEFORE BEND THE LOCK! I had high hopes for these jacks. Build quality is good, they have a good finish, but they have one serious flaw and you'll run into it before you even start using them. The developers of the 6-ton version considered it necessary to add an unnecessary wall to an adjustable jack support. Not only that, he placed it in such a location that if you use a hammer and punch to bend the locking tab, it will lock in a 1" long pocket. This renders the stand useless unless They…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

I bought these to work on my car's exhaust system and I've used them a few times already. They are strong and solid. They are much stronger than the jacks I have used before and they are also significantly taller which was the main reason I bought them. Costs. 4,000 pounds of metal that will crush you if they don't work. They're overloaded enough to give me confidence to be safe under the car. The metal is very thick and heavy and the double locking mechanism provides extra security. It is much
