I had two chips on my 5 year old granite countertop which is a mottled beige/brown/dark brown mix. A chip felt very sharp, on the edge and on top of the counter, maybe 1/8 inch wide and a bit deeper. I'm usually terrible at writing reviews. But after reading some of the negative reviews on this product, I felt compelled to write a review on how it worked for me. As soon as I received it I opened the package and checked the LED light. It was nice and bright which made me feel like the product would probably work as advertised since most of the bad reviews had an LED backlight that didn't work properly. Disappointing results on black granite. --- This review is for use of the product on black granite only --- "I didn't expect miracles from this product; I expected it to 1) fill a few shallow pits and chips in my black granite kitchen island 2) clean to a reasonably good finish with no clear or obvious signs of repairs.
