Great substitute for steel wool where steel wool can rust

I use bronze wool to fill in holes for pests to get in. Around the wires and cables going through the walls. Also pipes and hoses. Unlike steel wool, it will not rust and will last for many years.

Superb rustproof bronze wool

Bronze wool could not be found on site. I wanted him to shut the pipe entrance under our trailer. I've found over the years that rodents can't/won't chew on metal wool, but steel wool will rust and is actually a fire hazard. Bronze wool is what you need when you need to plug a hole to deter rodents. Worked well and was inexpensive.

Real bronze wool, does not attract magnets. Some of the other grades I had were copper colored on steel.

I tried other brands and it turned out to be copper colored steel wool. They attract the magnet and rust. This product is the original I will be using to clean lead from the barrels of my revolvers. It's soft and won't scratch polished steel. Thanks for a great product!
