Inaccurate readings: Waste of money

The Professional Hydrion Chlorine Strips CH 1000 advertised as accurate but, unfortunately, I found the readings to be completely off. As a result of my tests, I determined that these strips are unreliable and not fit for industrial and scientific use. The one pro is that they are easy to use. However, the cons far outweigh the pros, and purchasing them was a complete waste of my money.

Ok but it could be better!

Colors between 250 and 500 ppm are not sufficient. You are making a guess. Still my favorite test strip because I regularly get HOCl readings over 250 and a comparable product only reads 200. I wish there were more gradations.

Make your own bleach!

With a combination of this, a few chlorine bleach tablets and a Google search, you can make bleach on-demand for any situation. Like a global pandemic and you can't get Clorox wipes and have to sterilize EVERYTHING. Also, I feel like a water chemist. Relax!
