My hairdresser uses Vodana hair straighteners (but professional models) and they work so well I decided to give this a try. It heats up very quickly and runs very quietly. Not many creases are left at the top until you really stink at it and flip it in such a way that it can't help but leave traces of creases in your hair (no offense). It makes hair very smooth without killing or splitting the ends. Haven't tried curling the hair or making slight waves with it yet, but the neck is thin enough…

You can really tell the difference with the silicone strip down the middle. Hair no longer falls out of the flat iron. I was skeptical at first, but I liked it. I really like the notch for the handle.
