At first it rumbled like hell

In the beginning it rattled like hell. So, following the advice of others, I used Loctite to make sure the screws were secure. Second, water bottles kept falling out. Another triathlete recommended using hair ties to hold water bottles. The last straw was that it just burst. I was driving and hit a bump. The water bottle was half full. And it just broke when I hit a bump with my TT bike. Very disappointed. And now I have to buy another one, which is definitely not Profile Design. I've hadโ€ฆ

Work well until the bottles are empty.

This product is lightweight and can be adjusted vertically or approximately 15 or 20 degrees depending on the saddle. Another option is to use one bottle (middle) or two bottles (side by side). As I read in some reviews, the bottles tend to fall off. I have encountered this problem ONLY with empty bottles. I only give this publication 3 stars. I don't understand this shortcoming considering Profile Design makes great items. I fixed this by using strong rubber bands to attach the bottles to theโ€ฆ

Nice design, good construction, launches bottles like crazy.

I saw that some reviews gave it a low rating and claimed that it shed bottles faster than a 4th of July firecracker teenager, but I decided to give it a go to try anyway. I made my first trip and only ran the bottle once. I thought maybe it was the sweat on the outside of my bottle as I had previously chilled it. On my next trip, I fired a bottle from the same bottle cage twice at different points on my trip (only 1/2 mile the first time). I'll try tighter webbing around the cage or switch to a

Fits on my Brompton

Jun 13 - Rating changed from 5 to 3 stars. The problem with the cage design is that if you hit a bump and the bottle bounces 1cm up, the bottle stays 1cm up. When you hit another bump, it goes up and stays there. Until the bottle falls out. The mount is good with different angles so still 3 stars but the problem is the cage. I just replaced them with cheap Decathlon ones and also bought Decathlon bottles. It doesn't grab the bottle and bounce it around much, but that's okay because it doesn'tโ€ฆ

Poor design/remove

Before purchasing I read many reviews about water bottles falling out of cages. I pretty much ignored them because I've had good experiences with Profile Design's other cellular system. I've had a seatpost mount model for years and never had a problem. However, this model has significant shortcomings. The number of times a bottle has fallen out because you hit a bump is too many to count. Last June I was riding an Ironman 70.3 and lost a brand new water bottle the first few miles of a bike leg.
